You guys! We remembered to do our Friday blog post this week! It’s been a little slower around the Heintz household this week so let’s do this thing!
Becky had to put 2 schemes together this week for an office in Santa Monica so she was browsing Pinterest a lot! One of last things she saw was this front door. It’s a black steel door unit from Durango Doors with custom wood insets!! We would literally just sit outside our house and stare at this. Don’t judge! And if you’re bored.. go browse their website. It’s our version of fun! https://durangodoors.com/
The next thing Becky ran across was this new lighting collection from Vibia. It’s cleverly named Palma and it takes bringing the outdoors in to a whooolllleee new level. From the manufacturer - PALMA, holistic wellness meets interior ambiance, integrated with the lighting and decor. What exactly is the translation of that? Well it’s a light fixture that incorporates a planter. No seriously, Look! Even the pendants have a place for you to put a house plant. Interesting concept but is it realistic? There are a few applications we could see this used in. Maybe Restaurants, bars, hotels and transition spaces in retail? Can you think of anywhere else you might see this being used?
The third thing that came flying by Becky at work is this tile from Stone Source. She’s going to present it to a client tomorrow for a backsplash and private restroom. There are multiple colors. patterns, and field tiles that you can get creative with. It’s suitable for indoor and outdoor applications which makes it perfect for commercial traffic. Fingers crossed they like it!
Paul had a rep come in and present a new faucet collection by GRAFF®. It’s a contemporary collection derived from classic motorcycles, fusing an industrial aesthetic with details nostalgic of the all-American icons. The faucet’s noteworthy handle is reminiscent of a car’s steering wheel. The Harley collection includes all the models necessary to complete a bathroom including multiple faucet options, tub fillers, and shower trims. This would fit nicely into any project that had an industrial/raw material vibe.
This weekend Becky is headed to Florida for a business trip and Paul will just be at home chilling with Parker. We’ll probably go to JT the following weekend and bring back more pictures and updates. Until then!
