Master suite

It's time for the master bedroom and bathroom reveal at Paul's Hollywood Hills project!  As you know, the views are one the best things about the house but this master suite is on a whole new level.

We know the space feels a little sparse for some people but remember that this house is for sale and the homeowner didn't want to overcrowd it. Paul would have loved to incorporate some window treatments and art in the bedrooms to soften the space.  (FYI our favorite art gallery, Tirage Art, is having their anniversary sale and all art is 50% off!!!)

The homeowner saw the fireplace tile and knew they wanted to use it. The design team was able to make it look sleek and modern by paring it with brushed stainless steel and walnut cabinetry. It wouldn't have been their first option to use, but they admit now that it looks great.

Now let's talk about this bathroom, can we say AMEN! Becky dreams about soaking in the bathtub and staring longingly at DTLA and contemplate the ways in which she will one day rule the world. (Dramatic much?!) On the other hand, Paul is a shower guy and this shower has all the bells and whistles for him to feel like a king: hand held, rain head, and regular shower head. California and their water conservation efforts don't allow body sprays anymore unless you only add one sprayer.

The sinks are from this new company Paul found called Wet Style and they are an ideal sink if minimalism is your style. The bathtub manufacturer is the same and we love the sharp angles of the design. Although this bathroom looks like a million bucks, they were able to keep the price down by selecting the right materials.
